Magnificent Virgin of Sorrows, a dressed image from the Sevillian school, signed and dated by the sculptor J.M. de la Rosa in 2009. With an imposing height of 85cm, this oratory image stands out for the delicate modeling of her terracotta bust, which gives her expression a moving realism.
The piece retains its original polychromy and wears an inner garment of maroon damask silk with lace (with some stains on the back that would not be visible when fully dressed).
