Go to the shopThis exquisite 19cm tall Armand Marseille doll is a jewel of late 19th or early 20th-century German toy making.
It stands out for its bisque porcelain head in perfect condition, sleeping glass eyes that retain their magnetism, and a delicate open mouth with molded teeth. What makes this piece special are its carved wooden limbs, a superior quality detail compared to common composition models.
It retains its original painted shoes and socks and has a restoration on one leg as seen in the photos; otherwise, it is in excellent condition considering its age. Dressed in a striking striped and lace dress, the back of the neck bears the inscriptions "Germany A12/0M." It is a piece ready to be displayed in a cabinet, ideal for collectors seeking authenticity and the unique character of antique toys, extremely difficult to find, let alone in such good condition. It is delivered exactly as shown in the photographs.
