This exquisite 19cm tall Armand Marseille doll is a jewel of late 19th or early 20th-century German toy making.
It stands out for its bisque porcelain head in perfect condition, sleeping glass eyes that retain their magnetism, and a delicate open mouth with molded teeth. What makes this piece special are its carved wooden limbs, a superior quality detail compared to common composition models.
It retains its original painted shoes and socks and has a restoration on one leg as seen in the photos; otherwise, it is in excellent condition considering its age.
